FAQs

Do I need to prepare outfits?

We have a lovely collection of outfits available for both boys and girls.
However, if you’ve booked a cake smash session, please bring your own outfit for your baby — it makes the photos even more personal and fun.

Do I need a real cake for the session?

Not at all! Many babies prefer not to touch the real cake — more than half of them avoid it because of the texture or creamy feeling.
You're welcome to book the session without a real cake.

What’s the process of the photo session?

We start with relaxed family photos to help everyone warm up. Then we take a few sweet portraits of your baby. Once they’re comfortable and happy, we finish with the cake smash — the fun, messy finale of the session.

Do I need to let you know my preferred photo backgrounds and outfits?

Yes, please email us at info@annaclairestudio.com with your chosen backgrounds and outfits.
We regularly wash, sanitise, and iron all our wraps and props, so a little notice helps us make sure everything is perfectly prepared for your session.
