The photo themes will give you a good idea of the props, backdrops, and outfits we have available. Within each theme, we’ll try a variety of poses. During the actual photoshoot, we’ll pose your baby gently and always follow their comfort and preferences.

Do I need to prepare outfits?
We have a lovely collection of outfits available for both boys and girls.
However, if you’ve booked a cake smash session, please bring your own outfit for your baby — it makes the photos even more personal and fun.
Can I book a session without a real cake?
Absolutely! Many babies actually prefer it that way — more than half of them don’t touch the cake during the session, often because they’re unsure about the texture or creamy feeling.
Is there an extra cost for using a real cake?
Yes, there’s a $30 cleaning fee for sessions with a real cake, to help us keep the studio fresh and ready for the next little one.
What’s the process of the photo session?
If you’ve booked a cake smash session, we’ll begin with a few family photos first.
Then comes the fun part — the cake smash!
Afterward, we’ll prepare warm water and a cute mini bathtub for a bubbly clean-up and some adorable splash photos.
Is the cake included in the package?
No, a real cake isn’t included in the package, but we do have a white decorative cake available for use in the photos.

We regularly wash, sanitise, and iron all our wraps and props, so a little notice helps us make sure everything is perfectly prepared for your session.
